This project was all about learning effective ways to manage our time, study for tests, and keep our work organized. We had to do this at the beginning of the semester so we could use the information that we learned for the rest of the semester. I think for this assignment, I learned a lot about self-directional skills. I had to use them to complete the assignment, but I would say I learned more about them than anything. I am proud that I didn’t wait until the last minute to do this assignment. I completed it about a week before it was due, which made the rest of my week a lot less stressful. I think I developed my self-directional skills because, throughout the whole lesson, we were learning about it. We learned how to manage our time and not procrastinate, and basically how to achieve what we want to get done on our own, without a lot of help from others. Honestly, this was a pretty easy assignment, but the hardest thing about it was how long it took. There were multiple videos that we had to watch so it took quite a bit of time to complete. If I got to do this again, I would probably do it over a couple of days instead of in just one sitting. Even though I had the time to do it over a couple of days, I didn’t want to at the time. Now that I think back, it would have been more enjoyable if I had done it over a couple of days. Throughout high school, I have had to study for many tests, do lots of homework, and manage my time effectively. Even though I have come up with my own ways of doing it, the videos and assignments helped me to make my methods even better. Now, with this information, I can apply it to all of my future tests and assignments. I have already started to use some of the methods, and they have shown great results.
